New 500 S&W 400gr Keith bullet
« on: August 07, 2004, 12:35:32 PM »
Dry Creek Bullet Works has a new 400gr Keith for the 500 S&W, it looks like a great alternative to the LBT designs that are more common for the caliber. I haven't fired it but I've been told it shoots very well. They're not listed on the website yet but they should be available if you ask for them.

Here's a scan of it next to a loaded 9mm to give an idea of how big this bullet is. http://www.handloads.com/images/DC-500-400-K.2.jpg

As far as I know it's true to Keiths ideals of how a bullet should be designed, it seems to have all the major points, single wide lube groove, equal width bands, flat base, wide meplat.

Now I just need to get a 50 to shoot them in....
