Well, I called yesterday to see if they had any stainless barrels. The guy told me no they did not and we're looking at late fall. :eek: I called back just now (was going to change my order to a 243 win.) Never had one and thought I would give it a try. I ask him about the twist rate for all the 243 win barrels. He said they all had the same twist. I then told him I had a reciever there for a stainless barrel. He asked my last name and area code and then tells me it is done and is in shipping at this very moment. I said are you sure. He said yes. I then ask I thought the stainless barrels were not going to be available till fall. He told me a lot of times they do not tell them when a barrel does become available. They have to physically go check. I asked him if he knew which barrel was on my reciever 270 or 30-06. He could not tell me (I called and changed my order while it was there and he could not tell me if the change went thru) So I will be waiting to see which I get. Kinda like when my wife was pregant. Is it a boy or is it a girl. Is it a 270 or is it a 30-06. I like surprises but do not like the waite.
