i went to  the  Hunt n shoot  ranch  on monday for  a  bowhunt.  To say the least  it  was  an awesome hunt  I  went  with  a  hunting buddy  and we paired up  for  the  evening hunt  and  had  a  double  bow kill, during the morning we seen hogs   but  were out of  my self impose limit of 25 yards.   we set up by a water hole  and  we caught them coming in  to a water hole  i  shot  my  boar in the  neck  lol on accident  i  pulled  the  shot  but  dropped him inhis  tracks  my  friend  was shooting  a  60 lb longbow  and  made  an incredible running shot hitting him squarre in the shgoulder  we recovered his pig after a small search  we  both got  a  small  hogs  hunting over feeders before dark.   this  was  a  high fence hunt   but  to  say  it  was  a  canned  hunt  or  an easy  hunt,  it  was    pretty  tuff hunting,  this  was  my  first   hog hunt in east texas with a  bow  and  i  am  addicted  to it  now  i  have  to  work on my shooting  i set  me  up  a  stand 17 yards from my first feeder and on  the  next full moon  ill  bow  hunt  hogs  i have pictures  as soon as  they get developed  ill  post,  by  the  way  i was using New Archery products  100  gr  shockwave  with carbon arrows  my  bow  was set  at 55 lbs  and  i was using a shoot  through rest  using fingers  i had  my  bow  sighted  for 20  25  and  30 yards  the  arrow  penetrated  all  the  way  to the  vanes  on  this  nice  boar   pics  coming soon

Good goin' Howie!  I have a hunt scheduled for the last weekend of this month in which I plan to use my bow.  I've been out of the bow world for a few years, but the new one's all tuned up and ready.  Hopefully I can "bring home the bacon" with this new setup.  If not, the trusty T/C Encore ML is ready and waiting.
