So...apparently no one in the world has a 15" 7mm BR Encore barrel for sale, but there are jillions of 10" available.
I'm tempted to go with the 10" version. Since this will be primarily a small deer hunting pistol, does anyone know whether I will be sacrificing appreciable energy by going from a 15" to a 10"? My decision to select this round was based partially on ballistics tables, but those seem to be based on the 14/15" variety. But the short-fat case of the 7BR might lend itself to an early pressure peak, negating significant increase in velocity from a longer barrel. Help!
Thanks,
Rich
