How much is a Thompson Contenter Frame worth in new condition?  Just the fram no barrel.

Whatever the market will bear!!!!  In my opinion a great price for a frame and grip is about $140-$170 and $170-$200 is not that out of line.  I bought a stainless one last summer for $140 and a blued one a few weeks ago for $150.  Actually the blued one was free because I bought a frame and 5 barrels so cheap that I sold 4 of the barrels and am over 100 bucks ahead right now, but the price of the frame was figured at $150 with the barrel prices being extremely low.

From what I have observed lately...
The stainless is worth a little more, about 200 to 250.
The blue version is about 170. If it is the older style, then less.

:-D Howdy.. I did the deed finially and got a G2 carbine frame and stocks. It was $319 and tax.. Sure fits better than the Contender carbine I have..cbagman

Well I mean that the factory carbine stock on the G2 has a high comb and a more trim pistol grip area than the factory Contender carbine stock.. I have a walnut after market carbine stock for my old frame Contender which is higher in the comb than the factory wood, and even with that when I mount the G2 carbine the scope is better aligned with my eye in shooting position than the Contender carbine---- way better in fact.. I forgot to mention one other thing.. All my stocks are ambidexterous as I shoot off either shoulder and a roll over comb won't do.. The G2 came out of the box just right for my use W/o havint to go to Bullberry or VVA..:eek: cbagman
