Steve :  I have remington, as for new present manu, I believe thats all could be wrong, but in the past there were several others who have made them AMT made a Magnum hunter all stainless COPY and a good copy of the ruger 10-22, H&R also made a model 157 in 22 mag., a model 700 in 22 mag.,  and then I believe their was also one made in Ct. that made one yes Kodiak co. made a model 260 it was the first 22mag. auto. :D    JIM

I remember my father buying one of those Kodiaks when they came out, man was it ever a piece of junk!!!  it wasn't accurate, jammed like mad, and finally it flew apart when he fired it!!!  He took? sent? it back to where ever he bought it, and was glad to get rid of it!!!

  These days i have a Rem. 597M and from reading around the net, i must have got the only good 597, as mine shoots quite accurate and to this day has NOT jammed even once!!!
