Well took the plunge and purchased a BFR 475. I am impressed with the fit and quality of the revolver. Not quite an FA but was'nt $1500 either, and allows bullets to be seated out unlike the FA. Have 475 brass and dies ordered should be here this week.

Went to the range with it the other day. The only thing could use were factory Hornady 480, 325's at a listed 1350 as nothing else was available in town. Off the hood of the truck at 25yds stuffed 15 rounds into 1.5" not at all bad for factory and less than perfect rest

Can not wait to try some good cast 400gr bullets in linebaugh cases. If any of you have favorite loads for the 475 please let me know. I hear that both 4227 and H110/ww296 work well, any tried Lil Gun?

Will continue to follow up as load development continues.

    PS. Avitar is the group

     Thight Groups.............Rick

Rick, Not a bad group for an old man. Its hard for me to get groups like that, maybe need to open my eyes. Bet you are going to enjoy your BFR
375. I gave it a lot of thought and went with the FA. Still visit the BFR site
once in a while, You never know,,, I'm just crazy enough to go that route
some day. Take care and enjoy your new toy...........Joe............
