Rogmatt, currentlyI have a couple of extra stock sets, one of which is a laminated straight shotgun stock and matching forearm along with a shotgun stock set which has spring loaded shell storage built into the buttstock which I am thinking of parting with, I also have my original stock set from my first Handi (45/70). The straight laminated stock is in need of a receiver to attach it to and am still actively looking for a 30-30 barrel and think I may have a .410 barrel for it soon. It would be a great set up for Maine partridge, straight stock, 20 AND .410 barrel!!! (perhaps you have a 30-30 barrel you might be willing to sell?). The extra barrels I have been able to obtain that are not designated for a specific "project gun" I have sold to other members here for just what they cost me and if more become available as a bulk purchase I will buy them and pass them on to those who have already expressed a desire for certian gauge barrels. My hope now is for the last of those that I have sent barrels out to to pay for them!!! I will continue to attempt to pass on any deals I may come across because I am sure the actions of one here does not reflect on the many fine members of this forum. As far a receivers go I have 4 and want more...I also have 6 extra barrels which I enjoy tremendously. I sincerely hope you enjoy shooting and working on your handi's and pardners as much as I do working on mine, isn't the work we do on these inexpensive little "project guns" tremendous fun!!! I have introduced neighbors to these little guns and we shoot together here at home, they are now also adding barrels!!!. I have also introduced friends in Northern Maine to them as well and now we all hunt coyotes together with similar .22 mag Sportsters, I say similar because we each have ours set up a bit differently. Thanks to stock swaps and purchases here I have mine set up with a survivor stock and storarm forearm. One friend has a set of wooden stocks which I swapped with a member here for the original synthetics which I know have since been sent on to another member here!!! The third of our coyote/Sportster group in Maine has opted to use the original synthetic set. Yes, I do enjoy swapping, selling, buying and "project gun" work with these little guns...Thanks for noticing, and by the way, do you have that 30-30 barrel I am looking for....<><....
P.S. - Rogmatt, I have passed on more than I have bought or "expressd a interest" in and some still bother me. Regretfully with a big project starting here at home and an unforseen funding change much of my purchasing is going to have to be curtailed in the future, starting next Monday!!! Oh well, all good things must come to an end, or at least slow downl!!!....<><....
Remember, vote Republican and save our great country from ruin and damnation!!!....<><....
