308, 150gr. TSX

Gents and Donna I, guess.  I have purchased a 308 to stay in Canada therefore I thought for these large deer shot at under 200 yards that 150gr. Barnes TSX may do the task without a lot of recoil.  Would you agree?  I am looking for a Premium bullet to use because you can't always pick a perfect broadside shot and the last one I got weighed 261lbs. on a scale the guide uses before cleaning.   Thanks as usual for sharing you experience!   Buckfever

I like nosler and sierra's, Why are you shooting the little ones. :)  261 lbs thats about 150lbs of meat. If my guestimator is working right.

For the deer around Misouri I use 150gr remington corlokt but I do pick the broadside shot.

A buddy of mine swears by 150 gr. in his 308 and I have shot several deer up here with a 30-06 with the same, no problems.  I haven't had experience with the TSX though.
