Buck fever...
« on: August 28, 2004, 04:21:39 PM »
With 34 days until Pa archery, I have a bad case of buck fever  :|  , I have watched every hunting movie I had and just picked up some Realtree Hard woods HD, and a new bow case...I just got my new bow awhile ago and have been shooting alot...Is it just me or does it seem the days are longer when theres less then 40 days untill deer season ??? I still have a few stands to hang yet though...
Good Luck, Be Safe, and God Bless  :D

It can really eat at you . . . the only cure is being out in the woods . . . at least for me.

I have to agree with longwinters. It seems if I'm scouting....my buck fever is edged (in my case it's just hunting fever  ). But seein deer and turkeys and squirrels just brings ya back to reality and out of the normal mumbo jumbo that's goin on in society. I love the woods :D . I wouldn't want to live in the city to save my life 8). I got a new toy as well, #1. I got me a new Traditions Hawken (that was supposed to come in today...and it did...BUT IT WAS THE WRONG HAWKEN  ). So...my fever suddenly sky-rocketed and I nearly passed out. But after I got home and did some crow huntin...I felt better. I guess I'm gonna have to wait till next Saturday to get my RIGHT Hawken. Hope your new bow is shooting good...u'll need it in 28 days  . Happy arching!! :D

Ahhhhhhhh just a few more days until NJ's opener...I'll be sitting in a tree on Saturday morning waiting for a nice doe to swing on by! ;)

Hung a few more stands this weekend, getting things together and ready for the season.

Cmon Saturday!!!
