Busted by bear hanging stand

I was hanging my stand today and a bear walked in to the bait while I was making a bunch of racket.  He came in for a minute and then walked off.  Then I was climbing out of my stand and then I saw another bear watching from the brush.  That bear then turned and walked away.   I see the bears alot when I am putting the bait out.   So i think they a pretty familair with me.  I rebait everymorning at 7 a.m .  Today 15 minutes after I baited is when the bears came in.  I bang the buckets together everyday when I leave the area.  So I think I noise I made handing my stand made them think I was finshed baiting.  Should I moved the stand or leave it alone and just keep baiting like normal.  Will the bears check that tree eveytime the come in?  or do they go back to normal if they don't fdeel threatend.   They hit the bait everymorning and their is at least 5 different bears hitiing it.  Will tyhey bear a see today start hitting it at night.

I would not move the stand. It will only put you at the site making more noise and the bear may see you setting it up again anyway. I am assuming that the stand has already been placed it the best location relative to wind direction and sun. So moving it may put you at a disadvantage during hunting.

If you decide that you want to move it. Go back during mid-day when the bear are least active. You may have a chance of moving it when there not around.

Wow R&G sounds like a great bait station. I vote with cabin4 don't move the stand yet. Hunt it a little first & see how you do. If you feel the need to move it. Do as cabin4 suggested & do it midday.
