Having read the Sierra info on loading for the service rifle, I'm starting to size some brass to reload for my M305.
http://www.exteriorballistics.com/reloadbasics/gasgunreload.cfmI've full length sized a few pieces of brass, adjusting the die so that the brass drops into the chamber of my M305 with it's own weight. If I push hard on the brass, I can still hook it out easily with my fingernail.
If I let the bolt slam home, it opens easy and ejects the brass.
As far as I can see, it's about right.
But, I see that I'm only sizing the necks about 1/8 inch. This doesn't bother me, I will just run it through a collet neck die.
I am worried if I am sizing it enough?
I don't usually full length size for my other guns so don't have a lot of experience with full length sizing.
