Dispelling the "experts"
« on: January 18, 2003, 11:23:36 AM »
 Just an observation on lever actions, no more.  Isn't it great to prove the "experts" wrong about the " inaccuracy" of lever actions?  After reading all the articles by Dave Scoville in Rifle and Handloader, I had to try a lever action.  My first, a 9422, outshot my Rem. 541T.  The next was a Win. 1886 (Miroku) in 45/70 which was beginning to convince me and the latest is an old Win. 1894 in 32/40 which is making me a lever action nut.  Love 'em.  Bolt actions are fine but these are downright fun.  Just the ramblings of a recent convert!

Roger-

Be careful.  This lever-gun addiction only seems to get worse after the bug has bitten.  As a matter of fact, I don't think there is a cure!
