I have a ultra light in 270 with 20inch barrel, any thoughts on a good accurate bullet? Will use to deer hunt ,shots 25 to250 yards.
I enjoy collecting guns, swaping and staying up on all the newest models. I deer, quail, squirrel and rabbit hunt.

I would try 140gr. Remington Premier CORE-LOKT ULTRA...I just tried em the other day in my Ruger M77 7mm Rem Mag and shot a 7/8" Free-Handed group at 100yrds...I have not got to try them from my bench yet, but I will...

I would try all types of ammo in your price range to determine what your rifle likes best...I would probally stay around the 130-140gr. bullet weight range...

Hi Billy,
This is off topic, but I noticed that you're from Columbia, TN. I was just up that way looking to relocate from FL, and the realtor told us that there was a good shooting range in your area. Is that true? If so how long is the range and what kind of  shooting facility is it? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
