Got my new 204 Ruger barrel today

Heavy, 26" long!

Now, all I have to do is get a scope and some ammo (or reloading supplies)!

I got the reloading dies a couple of months ago!

I just can't wait to see what this thing will do!
I have up to 400 yards of shooting area out my back door and occasionally a coyote will cross it somewhere!  Some make it and some don't!

I got mine through Midsouth Shooters Supply!
Cost $225.59
The only complaint I have is that it took so long to get it! I ordered it, back in February!  But, I think it was worth the wait!

I got mine today i had mine on order from midsouth since feb too but still had not got as of last week so i checked midway and they had them in stock so i ordered from them and cancelled my order from midsouth.  I paid a little more but got the barrel and some cartrides already and will be shooting it this weekend.  I checked with midsouth before i cancelled and they said they had no idea when they would get mine in to ship.

The .17 Rem. is an excellant varment round, but there are alot of them around. My carry gun right now is a .17 AH, but I have a .17 Rem and a .17-223 also. My next varmint round will be the .204 though. It shoots flatter than a .22-250 or the .17 Rem. and should do less fur damage on coyote size game than a .22-250.
