Who cut down the rossi and was it crowned right.
That was my first thought about the accuracy issue, too.
I would prefer a good 30-30 myself, for most hunting, but that chopped 92 would be a good back pack gun if the original lever was put back on it. There's a pocket that runs down the side of my Kelty long frame that holds a short, iron-sight rifle very well. As of now, I'm even still limber enough to get a rifle out without taking the pack off
