thank God  i just got back  . man God is wonderful he helped me out so much. well now for the story.

well it started when dad and i did some work on our cars , we saved all the trans flued motor oil kerosine and a little bit of this and that we put in to and old gas can to use as lighter flued for brush piles and such. well one mourning my older sister was leaving to go to work and need a little extra gas well she grabbed the wrong can, so dad had to go up to columbus and work on her car . one of the things he did was pump out her gas tank of all that stuff and when he was done he poured all of it into a bucket and took it home to use for burning . well saturday we were going to have some friends over and we were going to have a fire out at our fire ring (40-50 yards from the house) but saturday mourning there was a lot of brush from around the house : sticks from the trees corn stocks form the garden and other things like that. well mom ask me to burn all those things up before our friends came  so i went out  to the fire ring and piled up the stuff poured 4 cereal bowls of the burnig mix on it  and lit it . well i thought the buring mix was some where around 1 part gas and 8 or 9 part other oils well it turned out to be about 1 part oil and 9 parts gas so when i touch the oil with the propane torch there was about a 20ft fire ball (mom watch the whole thing) and i was smack dab in the middle of it . my left arm caught fire flams were standing about 2 feet off of it  all of my hair on my head also went up so i fell to the ground and did just what they said in kindergarten dropped and rolled that put out the fire on my arm but my head was still on fire .by this time my mom was ruining to me  i stud up and started beating my head while running inside to the shower where i was finally able to put out my head. i stayed in the shower for about 15 minuets then we wrapped 2 wet towels around me and got into the car and sped to the hostbital where it took them 15 minuet to give me morphine and then some what relieved.

msp ret: yes it is the genes i have great parents who have spanked me hundreds of times. but its a little more then that  they also introduced me to my Lord he is what makes me a good guy!! i felt like such a hyapocrite i swore like a drunken sailor one minuet and then singing the song  grace like rain the next to clam my self down.

for all of you that prayed: THANK YOU they worked just after i started this thread i went in for them to take off my wraps and see how i was doing and to see if i needed skin graphs or not. well when they looked at it they said it was great and i could go home !!!!! so yes it worked thank you but please i'm still in a lot of pain and have a long way to go so keep those prayer coming please.

I am sorry to learn of your trial today....I was at work earlier.

I will remember you for a few days......and ask that you consider calling 1-800-759-0700 to have the '700 Club' pray for you as well.

Take care of yourself, young man. There are a lot of ointments that prevent scarring. I am sure your Doc. will recommend one. Keep us posted.

Mitchel That's the kind of thing a parent has nightmare about.  God bless you and heal you quickly.  I'll pray for mental healing as well, hopefully there are no long term issues for you.

Take care and do whatever the doc's say.

thats just what my dad was telling me yesterday we had a long talk on the love seat last night he was just wanting to tell me how much he loved me . so we hugged cried a little bit and talked for a while. i'm so fortunate to be loved be so many people . my little sister ,who happens to fight with me all the time, was out side the bathroom crying her eyes out while i was in the shower cooling off my burns. although at the time the rest of my family was too busy helping me to be crying they all took their turn . i didn't really know how near to death i really  when i was about to light the fire i was holding my breath so when the fireball hit me i exhaled the doc told me if i would of inhaled i would of burn up my lungs and would of been dead in minuets. i have great respect for my dad who knew this but did not know that i held my breath yet he still did what was needed and got me to the hospital.
and to hit on one other person who loves me my dearest girlfriend of 41/2 years was by my side the whole time cleaning my wounds feeding me helping me do anything and most importantly she was loving on me  even though my face looks 100% different she'll still be there for me (BTW the doc said i will have NO scars on my face so once everything fades away i'll look just as i did) she is one awesome girl . i'm not looking foward to the gun restrictions i'll be under but i 100% sure this she is the one God has for me , she my little doll baby.
Boy i just got carried away. well anyhow yes it was my mom and dad's nightmare and sisters and girlfriend too,..... oh and i didn't like it much either.

oh speaking of her  my lovely nurse just pulled up so . thanks for you prayers fellas
