The ignorant, the foolish, and the senseless

I will not even begin to address the many points of simpleton's..er...um "logic?" that I find fault with cause I don't feel right shootin fish in a barrel. On the other hand I do take exception to the name simpleton being dragged through the mud, as I have toiled long and hard to bring the term "simpleton" (probably my best quality) to some small level of respectability (OK, maybe not) but now after this whole debacle, I'll have to fall back on my next best quality...Harmlessness!!!  (mostly to things I shoot at I guess), but it's certainly not as mysterious or sagelike as simpleton. Just when I was gittin comfortable being called a simpleton... whamo!! All people will have left to say is "at least he's mostly harmless"  :)

Or you could spice things up a bit and go with "Brash" or "enigmatic" (whoa got the spell check burning on THAT one  :-D .)

Thanks, I really appreciate the help. Now if I could just get people who actually know me to say such nice things, I'd be getting somewhere. :D
