I wonder if they are considering bringing bac any other calibers, like the whelen etc?

I think this time I'll send the Ultra off for a 30-06 and 357 as soon as cash and seasons allow.

Does this mean the barrels I have now are "Pre-Bans" so to speak??? :roll: I'd like to get word that they are going to tool up to make 35 Whelen's... :mrgreen:

thats good news.i had an old 357mag H&R rifle but it didnt shoot worth beans.i sold that gun. this time i will send in for a new barrel for one of my frames.i waited to long last time and missed out on one.i have the dies,brass,powder,some bullets and only need a barrel

jeff223 so did I.  I have the 357 handgun to go with mine and procrastinated too much.

I'm exploring the idea of keeping the 357 vs the 360DW or even the Max or super mag.  I also want to be able to shoot the shot shell from it at very close range.  Quail season is open when deer season is.

Handirifle,

You don't alter the gun to shoot .360 DW's in it.   You do have to watch the OAL of the .360's.  Some of my .357's are as long as the DW's.  :grin:

that's right gents, he didn't say a lot about them, but I though I would ask if they had any left lying around so I could have one fit to my receiver and he said no, but that they should have them back in stock by the first of the year. I should have asked if they had a waiting list I could be put on, but was so excited my mind went blank.
