I use one in Colorado every year! I suffered way too many times with the Alaskan and freighter's. The padding is great, the distribution is great, and It has many hooks for either ties or bungies. I carried a full Elk 'hind' quarter almost 6 miles with one. My shoulder and back got tired, but I did not get sore...this with 125lbs of meat, and a TC Contender to boot. We did this 2 days in a row. All of my friends now use the Bull-Pac! It is an awesome frame. We chose this type cuz we didn't want to get packs bloody while carrying meat. We hike up, strip off the gear, set up camp, and hunt with a day-pack attached to the teh Bull-Pac. After downing an animal, we have the ties and gear to start packing right away. With a heavy load, teh pack does not creak or give like the lighter built frames, plus we have broken the aluminu, pinss that hold the other frames together. Can you tell yet that we will not trade our 'Bulls'? Go for it!
