long range-response to Black Bears post below

Not a problem! I took a nice pronghorn buck at 265 yds in Wyoming last year and also a coues deer buck here in Az at 298 yds across a canyon in the Superstition Wilderness. Both were one shot clean kills, the antelope ran about 40 yds and piled up, the deer dropped like a bag of hammers. They were both shot with the same gun using the same loads. Encore? no! Custom gun? no!  Plain vanilla Contender in 7-30 Waters, 120gr Ballistic Tip, ww748 powder, Burris 3x-12x Ballistic Plex scope, very deadly combo!
