I went and did it......

Had a post on here a while back about my lack of accuracy with revolvers.  I can hit much better with Contenders in any condition (open sights, scope, off-hand, bench etc) than I could with my revolvers.  Now I am not talking MOA accuracy but deer hunting accuracy.  Took your suggestions and tried some things.

My answer was this.  I traded the 44 SRH for a 22 Bisley.  Sold the 357 GP100 and bought a 357 Contender barrel and some new hunting boots with the money.  Now I am left with a Single Six that I am leaving the 22Mag cylinder on and the Bisley 22LR.  I am happy for now, I have a couple of plinkers that are fun to shoot and I always wanted a 22 Bisley.

I will never own another centerfire revolver, until I see one that I like and think, I bet I can shoot this one better than the others that I had. :)

Then you must of never shot a DanWesson or a freedom arms.  Both will shoot under 2 inches at 100 yards.  But then the shooter must be up to it.  Because its the nut behind the gun that makes the most difference.  But if you try these you wont be disappointed.

You are correct, I have not tried either of those guns and never will.  They are both just plain out of my price range.  The Freedom Arms is without a doubt out of my range and the Dan Sesson is up there.  I know you get what you pay for, but I only have so much to pay.

If someone would like to donate one of theirs for me to experiment with for a couple of years let me know.
