I work third shift. Since I woke up about 3:30 am. I figured I would do some grocery shopping. I always take the way to see if any deer are moving. Well, it was nothing to see. But as I got close to home, I noticed something moving on the side of the road. There were 3 does and a buck and from what I could see it was a 8-pointer. :eek: I turned to go to the house. Now there is some woods behind me and on one side. I figured that tomorrow morning I will put my stand in the woods behind the house and maybe catch either doe or buck heading back to their bedding area. :-D Now I live in the town limits, and I asked the police chief if I could hunt within the town limits. He said I could as long as I bowhunt(no firearms). He told me if I wanted to use a slingshot I could. I had plans to go to a spot, but I beleive that I'll try this place later on tomorrow. I need to get something since I had no luck yesterday :oops: :evil: Bythe way did anyone that season that opened yesterday have any luck? Let's hear about it!
