Seedsntrees,
It looks like i'm going to be forced to get me one of those 204s. Sure heard a lot of good reports on them. I've been using a couple of 17 rems for awhile and having great luck with them. Do you do any prairie dog or yote shooting with your 204 ? If and when you do i know you will have a blast. Let us know when you do. Good Luck Sir........Joe.........

Seedsntrees ...

Which Savage model did you get and what bullet is working best for you? What kind of scope did you top it off with? That is one heck of a shot at a crow.

I will get the Savage Model 12 VLP when I can work it to the top of my priority list. I plan on placing a Bushnell Elite 4200 on it.

Keep the info coming on your shooting ...

The SAVAGE is the MDL 11. I mounted a Bushnell 3200, fixed 10 power with the mil-dots. Shells were the factory Hornady, 32 grain. I can't wait to hand load this one. She shoots GREAT right out of the box! Three different peolple have shot this rifle, all three shot a .5 inch 3 shot group @ 100 yards.
