Unaltered 88's of pre-64 vintage sell for around $600 in my neck of the woods, depending on condition. Nice ones can get a bit more, but the demand isn't too high around here. With the extras that you mention (extra stock, scope, etc.), you might be able to get a price in that ballpark, despite the alteratations. If you asked a little less, and just kept your scope, it would be a first-class project gun for somebody to turn into a dream rifle (maybe a .358, set in that laminated stock).
