Reeder Work suggestions
« on: September 14, 2004, 07:43:50 AM »
I have a .41 Mag in the Acusport 5.5" Bisley and will be in Flagstaff later this month to drop it off at Reeders for some work, at least an action job. I would like suggestions on what to have done besides that and why.

What, in your opinion, is it lacking?  If nothing, let it be w/ just an action job.  If you like the look of his custom models go for it.  If you have interest in a different chambering - convert it or maybe just have a seperate cylinder made for oh, .41 GNR or something.  I'd leave it as is (ok maybe an action job)  but that's just me.  I like my AcuBisley's as-is.

Well, besides the action job you could, free-wheel the cylinder, Belt Mountain base pin, v-notch and gold bead front sight, and maybe your name engraved on the backstrap. That's about all I'd do to mine as it shoots real nice anyway.
