SKS tactical reload

Is there reliable way to do a tactical reload for the SKS? For example, the shooter begins with a non detachable full magazine of 10 rounds. He shoots 4 rounds. He then wants to top off the magazine. What is the best way to do that? Thank you.

Insert a full stripper clip and only thumb off the amount you need to refill the magazine. With practice it becomes almost second nature.

You can also try turning the gun upside down, opening the magazine release, dropping the rounds into the mag and then closing the cover.
