Holster recommendations for 3" revolver?
« on: September 15, 2004, 12:25:30 PM »
I just acqired my first 3" .357 revolver (Comanche III) and will need a new holster. I plan on using a straight right-hand draw, and concealment is not a big issue, although a sleek profile to prevent hanging is a plus. It does need to be rather secure and rugged, as I will be wearing it while working outdoors. I'd like to hear input from those of you who been there before me. Thanks in advance.

Uncle Mikes has a nice hip holster made of nylon. Used one for years carrying a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44.

This is my recommendation:

I have one of these for 4” N-frames. This is a well build rugged holster.

Be Safe,
Scott

I'm with Strider. Uncle Mike's has really good stuff without spending a fortune. Take a look at them.

I went with a FIST Kydex holster for my 3" SP101.

:cb2: You can't go wrong with an inexpensive Uncle Mike's holster. I have several, however, the Bianchi AccuMold #3 is a good choice as well for a 2.5" or 3" K-frame sized revolver.
