Fletching ?

I have a grayling fletching jig and heres my ?. when fletching feathers in helical.how far down do you put the feather on the arrow and how far down on the Jig do you put the arrow in. i noticed the further down the jig, the more it twists. hope everyone can understand what i'm talking about.thanks alot

I use Bitzenberger fletching jigs and the arrow goes all the way down as far as it can.  The offset/helical is set separately.  Is the Grayling the kind of jig that does all three fletches at once?
