TRADITITONS-SINGLE SHOT PISTOLS
« on: September 16, 2004, 04:20:11 AM »
I recently purchased atraditions .32 crockett rifle(good shooter). Are the Traditions pistols good shooters? I have limited experience with tradition products, I own several Pedersoli,Lyman front stuffers, very happy with them. I really have not posted on this board, but read it daily. Thanks again for all the help, you folks have shared........ Montanadan

I believe they are made by Ardesa in Spain. The same outfit as used to supply CVA. The one's I've handled have been very accurate shooters.  From the Traditions website, it appears that they make some effort to either keep parts on hand or back order them.  They advertise mainsprings for some of the guns- probably rifles.

I have a traditions 50 cal cap lock Trapper and I think that it is a blast to shoot, I have loaded it with 70 gr of bp and that has a stout punch to it. Its a fun and acurat (SP?) little gun. Its a blast to shoot and well worth the money.
