I will tell you guys, that we are so lucky to have the hunters we have. Last night one of my huntes saw a big - and he said very big - sow with a little one and he did not shoot. He has been here for two weeks, been on sites that have been active, bear have been see, but the weather has been beyond description. One day it is cold, the next you want to sit in shorts, it has rained very hard and the wind was unbelievable. We harvested a very nice sow the first week with hunters, had a hunter see a bear, but then the weather turned against us. No bear is going to hit when the temps are in the 70's. They are hitting the baits but at night. Next week we have 4 more guys and I hope they are as ethical as the guy who just left. Of course, we have now lost a bait site because we will not put a hunter on that site. Hope everyone is having better luck than us.
