725 LB HOG

I saw on the television that 725 pound hog that was shot a while back.  One shot and the hog dropped over like he'd been clubbed in the head with a 25 lb sledgehammer.  They didn't say what the rifle was that knocked this big fella down, but I really don't think it twere much of a big bore.

I guess that "the bigger they are..............." saying might have some merit to it.

I saw that same show the other day.  It was shot at Bienville Plantation in Florida.  The guide asked the hunter about what bullet he used and he said it was 180 grains, but did not mention the caliber or cartridge.  The show was sponsored by Beretta, so I would guess it was a caliber that they make a rifle for.  That was one big hog!
