Just wanted to say hello to everyone, I've been lurking around for a short while, soaking up all the info I can. Result: Just got a new Encore in 25-06-Wood and Blue with a 26" HB, getting ready to mount a scope on it this evening.Got to get some brass,bullets and dies and I'll be in business. Alot of great info on this site and look forward to particpating. I could'nt be more excited and can't wait to shoot it. I just live a couple hours from SSK and already called them about a trigger job, but I don't think that'll be all(thinking about a custom barrel and a thumbhole lam. stock). Here I go again!

Welcome to the world of TC's.   Been doing them myself since 1969.   Oh yeah, don't forget to kiss the family goodbye - you won't be seeing much of them anymore now that the TC bug has bitten you.    :wink:

I never shot my encore prior to its trigger job.  But I can tell you that once done, you won't believe how good it is!
