Well my 4th trip to the woods this year and I had a 7 point come to my stand. I got out in the woods at 4:30 PM and had a buck work up behind me. At 6:32 PM I shot at 25 yards and took out both lungs on the buck. The funny thing is the buck dropped in it tracks, and I did not have to track the deer.  :grin:

Well I put another deer down with my :-D  "Mathews Legacy"  :-D with Easton XX78 arrows and Muzzy 125 gr. broadheads.

Attaboy and Good Job!!

Always nice to break the ice on deer season.  Kinda makes the rest of the hunting year fall into place.

I myself will be heading to the camp this weekend.  Not to hunt, but to do our annual work weekend.  Season opens Oct. 1.  But just being there will get me cranked up.

:) Congrats on a nice deer.  I am green with envy.  We cannot start until Oct 1 in Michigan.  I will be thrilled to see anything above a 5 pt.

Bow season started on September 1. I went to Alaska and was gone for the first 7 days of bow season, but I did get a Caribou. I guess the trade off was worth it.  :D

:(  :(  :(  Ours dont start till Oct 2nd  :(  :(  :(  Im runnin out of stuff to do...All stands are set..Bow is tuned as well as me...Broadheads all ready to go as well as me...I hate the month before opening...My wife no like it much either...I tink imma drivin her batty...hehehe short drive...OUCH... She saw me write that :twisted: Good shootin...Cant wait ta get out there for mine
