MY WIFE WANTS TO GET INTO ARCHERY.(WHICH IS GOOD FOR ME SO I CAN BUY MORE STUFF WITHOUT HER PUTTING ME ON THE COUCH). PROBLEM IS SHE IS SMALL 4' 10" SHE SEEM TO BE ABOUT A 22 TO 23 INCH DRAW LENGTH AND IS COMFORTABLE PULLING ABOUT 35 POUNDS FOR NOW.ANY SUGGESTIONS ON A BOW FOR HER???

Step one is to check your local hunting regulations and see if there are any minimun legal hunting requirements.
Some states restrict poundage, cast of the arrow, weight of the arrow and arrow length.

local pro shop said the legal limit was 35 pds but i dont think she is going to want to hunt with it anytime soon. she still has to take her safety course.

Golden Eagle makes some very nice bows (sparrow hawk might be one). My youngest boy started with one and the poundage went from like 25 - 45 lbs. Very nice bow.

I got my daughter a 35#45# Bear thru cabelas at a very good price. I think any of the companies that make a youth or Ladies bow is good-you determine the price range & if SHE likes the grip, she will shoot the bow well. goos luck.

If your little lady can pull 35 or so pounds then take her to an archery shop and have her try a Oneida. Easiest pulling bow made. My wife was about the same and using an Oneida she was able to work up to 45 - 50 pounds. Lawdog
