i was looking though a different forum and saw a guy who said he just set up a handi in 204 ruger for a friend . is this true??? i know they said the barrels would be out it the late fall but what about the whole guns?? could they be out yet??? has anybody emailed H&R about getting a gun instead of a just a barrel???

If you're talking about joetuc, he never replied to my question whether it was a Handi or and UV. I think he was just referring to the caliber, not the rifle brand. The thread was kinda confusing in that the reference to the NEF was somewhat vague.

yes it was kinda confusing but it sure sounded like he was talking about an NEF . i gave him a pm and asked about it but he hasn't got back with me yet. but i could be an NEF didn't the factory say it would be late fall for the barrels and late summer for the guns?

yes the 204 ruger in the handi is out... saw one yesterday in sedalia, along with 4 22-250's

My NEF that is in for a 204, and due to my stupidity been there 3 MONTHS, is not back wearing a 204 barrel yet! They said FALL and they meant it, next time I will take them at their word. I have emailed them and they have been very nice, but very firm in their instance that it will be FALL! Since it is now FALL I hope it is SOON!
