Glock 33 for concealed carry?
« on: September 27, 2004, 01:27:18 PM »
I was wondering if anyone owns and carries the Glock 33 (.357 sig).  I am looking to find a good concealed carry weapon in the .357 sig.  I have a glock 19 and 23 and like them very much , but I'm looking into the subcompacts for carry.  I would appreciate any information, good, bad or indifferent about the Glock 33.

Thanks,

I don't own the 33 but own the same sized 27 in .40S&W.  Great gun and I love to carry it.  Conceals very well and shoots great.  I carry mine in a Sidearmor http://www.sidearmor.com  4th generation IWB and would not trade you that holster for anything.

The 33 can be a handful for some people, it's a bit snappy.  You might want to rent one first and see if you like it.  If not the Glock 26 and 27 is another good choice.

Good Luck!

TScott,

thanks for the helpful info.  I have already decided to go with a smaller concealed carry weapon (Kel-Tec, P-11).  I will probably go with the glock 32 to fulfill my need for the .357 cal.  I appreciate the response.
