375 jdj muzzle break

i was wondering if you could get a muzzle break for a 375 contender and how well it works.  How much noticable recoil redruction there is and so on

That would be hard to say depending on the type you use. Some of the tamers can make things worse for some people/calibers by not allowing the barrel to rise, which puts all of the recoil straight back into your hand. But there are some out there that can dump a lot of recoil (many of these are pretty ugly IMO). One of the most effective (and least attractive, again IMO) that I'm aware of is the JP Howitzer that EA Brown sells. It looks like the end of a tank barrel.

My barrel came with Mag Na Ports.  They tame recoil very well.  I've shot a buddys who had the SSK brake and didn't notice any differance.
The only thing you should feel when shooting insurgents is recoil.
