By "utility knives" I mean a tradesman's utility knife with the replaceable razor heads? I picked up one with the "carpet" head - looked like a good gut hook to me and ended up working out alright on squirrel.
The more I spend on "hunting" knives, the more jobs I find are easier to do with these $5 knives. Naturally they won't chop or look as cool (they actually throw alright but don't last long if you do...lol), but you really can't beat their method of staying sharp (replace the blade) and it doesn't hurt as much when you lose them. Another thing I have to add is that some of them are built very well for wet/cold hands.*
Anyway - anyone else use these or am I alone on this?

* This is something about some commercial "hunting" knives that drives me insane. If you don't build them for wet/cold hands, you're setting a guy up to hurt himself.
