Okay i have a question, it might sound stupid but i just bought a 336 marlin and i have not yet shot it yet but i have realized that the trigger is real loose out the box. It can be pushed forward with your finger. Would that be a problem or is it just made loose. thnks for the info josh

Yup both mine do that too...I guess its something characteristic to the lever guns

I don't think you need to worry, All of mine do the same thing, Just the nature of the brute. All you need to do is go shoot it and enjoy your self.
