I know this has been covered before and there are many opinions, but for my sake here goes:

Can I tumble my cases after they have been resized, trimmed, chamfered, and the primer pockets cleaned? What is the downside to tumbling after doing all the prep work?

The down side is that ou get media in your primer pockets.

I always tumble mine again just before finish loading. I like them to look their best. Questor is right, you'll have to pick the media out of the primer pockets. KN

Media in the primer pocket is not a problem. That is, if you have an air compressor. I use the air nozzle to blow out anything that might be stuck in the flash hole. It gets the media out and any residue in the case.

I always do, oh ya the flash hole/ media thing. Oh Well, nobody said life was goina be perfect :wink:

Corn cob media gets in the primer pockets. That's why I use crushed walnut shells. It's small and doesn't plug the flash hole.

A partially straightened paper clip is all I use on the few cases that have media trapped in the primer flash hole. It's not a big deal for me as I want my ammo as clean as possible before using in my rifles and handguns.

Walnut shells and WD-40,a little picking is worth it.
