FOX RIDGE BARREL QUESTIONS

thinkin about  ordering a 25/06 24'' from them and there thumb hole walnut stock and forend.have they been puttin out good stuff??

My biggest problem with them is that they cut the throat too long, at least on the 2 barrels I've got from them they did. Neither would group well with factory loads. Handloads with the bullets seat near the lands made both barrels excellent shooters. Just my experience. Sean

Of four Encore barrels I've had, the most accurate is a .338/06 from Fox Ridge. It has been consistently accurate with most of the different loads I've tried.
