Pa first day today...

First day of the day all of us pa archers have been waiting for...No luck in the am..spooked a doe..hopefully this evening something might happen  :twisted:

Oh boy, I hope you didn't blow it.  :)  As I'm not an archer, I had no luck. haha. Well, good luck to you #1 and any other archer out there today!  :D

well ya seen one lol . i'm goin in the morning just got back from the stand . had to make sure it was still there . seen 2 does 2 fawns no bucks . i'd be happy with a doe . this is the first time in the deer woods with a bow in many years . hope ya have better luck tomorrow .

#1, ya gotta be like me and start countin the days until rifle now. Unless you're a turkey fanatic (fall turkey ain't that all exciting  :cry: ). Mebe Monday will be the day for you. Good luck!  :D

Still got 2 more weeks here in WV.  It is driving me crazy.  Went out the morning to just see what was out and about.  Saw 47 different deer!!  Only 5 were bucks and nothin spectacular but hey at least I am seein deer.  Got soo many deer runnin aroudn this year I can hardly contain myself.  Good luck to all you guys who are already out huntin.

well i got one . not to proud of it but it dared me . it was a big doe . walked away and came back three times . on its way back on its forth pass it stoped i drew it looked rite at me than looked away and i let it fly . passed through she went about 80 yards and crashed . i know it was only a doe but it is the first deer in many years with a bow . my heart was still going 100 miles a sec. i dont know about any were eles but here in Missouri we need to harvest does we have so many deer .

Congrats! Don't be ashamed. That's why we spend $$$ on doe tags :roll: . It's meat in the freezer bud....buck or doe :P . Once again congrats...now go get us a 12-point!  :D

Heck, a doe is what I'm looking to take right now, you have to keep them thinned out to or the herd gets bad. I'll only take a buck if he is big enough to hit the books. Saving the buck tag for when the grandson will be able to hunt during rifle season.

well i wanted that 30 pointer lol . i've seen three bucks in the area . one of them will slip up and get in range ( I HOPE ) i'm gona give a shot this afternoon i'll let ya know if i get a big one  :D
