Accurate Powder Co. SOLD??????
« on: October 02, 2004, 01:38:57 PM »
I was at the range today, talking to a shooting and reloading friend.
He told me that Accurate Powders has been sold to some other company.
He shoots and reloads for 40 S&W and 45 ACP. He uses alot of AA#5 and AA#7. And myslef just started using AA#5 in my 45ACP. He said he cannot find Accurate powder nowhere, at reasonable price. He did say that at one gun shop where the powder was $17.99/lb. was now $25.00/lb.
Has anyone else heard of the sale or takeover????

Accurate Powder .......

There will be more mergers and aquisitions in the propellant/explosive industry. The cost of product liability insurance is likely the manufacturers highest overhead concern. It has more than doubled in the last decade.
And, if you think about it, our cost of buying reloading propellant has also doubled in the same period.
