This is my Marlin 336.

The modifications/improvements I have made are
tapered 24" barrel, replaced stocks with better wood/ recontoured, added metal grip cap, hard rubber butt pad, Williams FP receiver sight (target disc drilled to 1/8"), Uncle Mikes sling swivels, reblued about ten yrs ago.

I couldn`t figure out how to remove the restricted access so I moved the photo to
http://photobucket.com/albums/v471/princeofwales
I just checked this link. It works (for me) but is Very Large. That may have something to do with the setting on the camera at time of exposure. I am going to try this again and move it outdoors. The meter exposed for the background making the stock too dark. Will see if I can control that. Computers are new to me. I am getting old and live in a rural community so this technology has been slow in reaching me. POW

Mac, a magnifier? If you click on the photo its HUGE. Way too large. I have been trying to resize it but with no luck so far.
I began by reading the information you mention. Where did I go wrong? POW

Geez guys will you never learn that GBO is now hosting your images free for members. AND we don't have pop ups or spyware to hassle you either.

Anyone clicking that link will get both a pop up and a spyware program called Double Click added to your computer unless you are running SpyBot and a Pop Up stopper.

I'll fix it for ya this time. But in the future just use GBO to host your images. You really do need a program to size images if you're going to use them anywhere on the internet or in e-mail. I use Adobe Photoshop.
