When it rains it pours (Dillon SDB-wise)
« on: October 03, 2004, 03:04:13 PM »
I was loading my .45 Colt cases after last week and had the shell plate screw break.  You could see the crystallization in the two parts of the screw.  No problem, dig it out and put in a new one.  I didn't even get this one in and it's in two pieces.  You can see the rust where the shaft meets the screw head.  So I'm now on my third one and just sent an email to Dillon.

I do lube the cases just so it's easy on me ('course the machine isn't griping either   )

Guess I should be glad I had spares vs. complaining that it (they) broke.

And now we start a new work week.  Yee Haw!
