Beautiful country there!  Drove through there last fall between the Fiesta ware plant in WV and a ASSRA match in Thurmont, MD.

What do you like to shoot?

Rochester, NY. Right now the cannon off the the left is my only one, but I'm looking into changing that. The only problem is I don't have enough for the ready built ones and lack access to the tools to build my own so I've been looking into kits.

Check our sponsors and se if you can get a barrel you can afford and build your own carriage.

Well, right now I've been looking at models by John Joline. The is a site that sells his models as kits that come unstained and unpolished full brass and walnut. You get the same thing but with the ability to do some yourself and save some cash.

Unfortunatly, my apt building doesn't have a woodshop and there isn't enough room in my apt for one.

I live in the Bear River valley of Wyoming. I spend everyday shooting or hunting something out doors. Oh yes been retired for many years.  My place sets at 7,000' so when the winter hits I travel around the SW and make black powder shoots.  Mostly Txs.,Az.

Greetings from Erie, PA

Nice board you folks have here!  My cousins have several black powder cannons that I have enjoyed being around for many years.  Finally decided it was time to get one of my own.  I have been communicating with Brooks-USA for a couple of weeks and have just ordered a coehorn golf ball mortar from them.  Pretty excited about the build.  They sent me a link to this board, so I checked it out.  Very nice!

I have a full scale, full bore bronze mountain howitzer being built. The barrel is being cast by Bob Gilmore of Gilmore ordinance in Ohio and the carrage is being built by Ben Miller of Miller cannon and carrage works in Tennessee. The longest wait is going to be for the carrage which is supposed to be done by late april.

Welcome to our little gathering of cannon shooters Mike  H.   You have cannon shooting in your area-besides Orlandoland....The Hernando's sportsman club over at Brooksville puts on a couple of shoots a year.  What do you shoot?

For now, an old cast iron signal cannon, 0.77” bore.  Powder only, no projectiles.  Makes noise on holidays.  Looking to go a bit larger.  I might have to check out that Brooksville event next time it comes around.

The dates for the Hernando Sportsman Cannon Shoot are May 8th. and Oct. 23rd.  I will post a flyer in the events section in the next few days.

A couple of miles from Camp Nelson KY, fast horses, beautiful women and the moonshines in the basement. Have a new HMR barrel in the works and this year when the artilley fire starts up across the hollow at the civil war days I plan to answer back.
