a kill from a NEF Handy Rifle or from a NEF Ultra Slug (no)

a kill from a Bow Tech Pro 38 (yes)

i sent a Beman carbon arrow tipped with a Muzzy 100gr through both lungs.i real trying shot for me.the buck was there under me at least 10 yds away

he came in at 7:30 this morning.he didnt go more than 70yds after the arrow hit him and he went down.a 7 point

i will try to get a picture posted sometime soon

Glad to see that someone is getting some action!! We were out for 3 days on the weekend got one shot at a 140 whitetail, but the stupid simmons scope got knocked out

. So time to buy a leupold :lol: Congradulations on the deer!!

Good job Jeff. How long have you been using the carbon arrows. I haven't switched from the xx78's. I like a heavy arrow, which helps in making the bow quiet. I shoot a York ,70 lbs, with 30" 2315 with 100 gr thunderheads. No deer for me yet. I'm waiting on a decent buck. I passed on four does yesterday.
Congrats on the buck! Those close in deer are sometimes alot tougher to shoot than the 20 yarders.
