I have a Mathews Legacy and a Mathews Q2LX. And would highly recommend the Mathews Legacy. It is my personal favorite.  :D
But I am Mathews biased.    Got to love those Mathews... :)  :-D

I'm not sure its the right idea to just decide what to buy without trying several where archery is concerned. Bows are more like clothing and proper fit and feel is very important. I shot a lot of different bows before I decided on mine.  It came down to a couple that really were hard to choose between. I finally bought the Legacy but I'm sure I could have shot the outback as well. The clincher for the deal was tthat the major difference in the Outback was the higher let off which I did not want or need. It was a few buck more money too.

I'm happy with the Legacy and its all I need in a bow. But you may find the feel of the thin/ small grip is not good for you. Or amybe the VERY short valley. Everyone has a different feel and you really need to shoot at least a dozen before you plunk down 700 bucks for a bow.

Well guys, I would have loved to buy another type of Mathews, but that's the cheapest one Mathews makes. I have a budget after all  , so that's the only reason...I suppose. It's the cheapest Mathews, but it's still a Mathews.

I got one a few years back. Best bow I ever had. It's set on 60lbs shoots very good. The best thing about the bow is it so quite I have shot deer at 20yds and they don't know I've shot till the arrow hits them. I looked at the higher dollar bows and they were nice but I never regreted getting the FX outstanding bow. Killed a 12 point 140class buck tonight with mine at 40yds center punched the heart. I love that bow!

Well fellas, due to my strict budget and sense of reasoning, I am now looking at a type of Martin. It's $335 bare bow and the gentleman who owns the shop is not only one of my best friends, but guarantees me this bow will do just as good as a Mathews. I can take his word...I know this much. And I know some Mathews aficionado's (not mentioning any names.... *cough* *cough* REDHAWK *cough* *cough*  :)  :-D ) will chastize me for my decision but that's what I'm doin. Ttyl!  :D

Yea, I guess craftsmanship and cosmetics is more prevelant in a Mathews than a Martin...but beauty is only skin deep, now ain't it?    :) . If and when I get a Mathews, I'll have more money and look into a Conquest or Legacy or sumtin...sumtin a lil more higher end.  :-D  Take care!  :D

P.S.- They do make medicine for ur problem Steve
