coppertops -

Good to see your post.  I haven't had a chance to look at your website, but just wanted to welcome you (and others).  I think the various boards support different functions and build the shooting community as a whole.

We'd love to see some of your pictures and hear some stories too.

I did visit the Rowan Artillery Website http://rowanartillery.com/.

Very interesting.  You folks take your  "play" very seriously.  I am sure we have folks here that would be interested in joining you.

I have attend two skirmishes at Ft Shenandoah as a spectator and the folks there seem very warm and friendly.

I myself have no interest in the costume end and am only interested in the shooting part.  but I encourge those who are  interested to take a look at the N-SSA.

Surely there must be cannon shoots around for just shooters?

Would that be a "Formal Shoot"?   (VBG)  One could develop quite a routine for competition in top hat and tails.

Agree with website comments of DD - great site.

We did see one group of three teams at Winchester.  Could it have been y'all?  Team name signs would be informative for the observers.
